Mia-Generation Developer Plug-in is a plug-in for the JBuilder IDE which allows to use an integrated edition of Mia-Generation Developer.

Prérequis

 

Software	Version
Mia-Generation	4.4.3 (or greater)
Java Runtime Environment	JRE 1.3 (or greater)
JBuilder	Developed with JBuilder X Foundation May work with other versions

Description

This plugin provides the capability to use Mia-Generation generators into the JBuilder environment :

1. Open the Mia-Generation Launch Dialog

   Use the main toolbar shortcut.

   

2. Add a new Mia-Generation Launch Configuration
   1. Select a Mia-Generation generator, "Java Generation.prj" for example
   2. Select a UML model, the Rational Rose "Company.mdl" for example.
   3. Select a generation directory. This is where files will be generated.
   4. Click on the "Run" button to launch the generation process.

   

3. Wait for the generation to complete

   A dialog shows up the generation progress, allowing to cancel the generation at any time.

   

4. Consult the generated files in the message view

   Once the generation is completed (or cancelled), generated files are listed in the message view (opened automatically).

   You can open these files from here.
   A file status (new, modified or unmodified) is displayed on the right side.
