Mia-Discovery

What is it?

Mia-Discovery is a technical cartography software offering an over-all vision of components and links existing between them within the legacy application.

How does it work?

Once the automated loading operation has been parameterized for the specific site, the various components of the legacy application are analyzed and loaded into a knowledge base.

The analyzers’ power provides reduced update times: 3 hours for an IS with 100,000 components, for example. This allows the knowledge base to be frequently updated, an imperative condition for having an efficient cartography.

Then, thanks to the lookup tool, the user can navigate in the knowledge base and benefit from graphical functions and sophisticated queries. Two versions of the lookup module are available: fat client and thin client.

What are Mia-Discovery's main features?

  • Powerful analyzers
  • Wide range of analyzed languages
  • Personalization of the analyzers taking into account site specifics
  • Speed of the database loading and updating
  • Ease of use
  • Thin client lookup available via a web browser
  • Fat client lookup available for advanced queries and analysis
  • Pre-loaded query libraries
  • Possible coupling with functional cartography tools
